The Booker plays a critical role in ensuring every roll that enters and leaves our facility meets exact blueprint specifications. This position is responsible for inspecting, measuring, and verifying rolls for accuracy and quality before they move to the Shipping Department.
The ideal candidate has strong math and measurement skills, experience reading blueprints, mechanical aptitude, and thrives in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming and outgoing rolls to ensure compliance with blueprint specifications.
- Accurately measure rolls using calipers and micrometers.
- Perform quality verification checks before releasing rolls to the Shipping Department.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Operate a forklift to move materials as needed.
- Utilize computer systems to document measurements and inspection results.
- Collaborate with production and shipping teams to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic math skills required.
- Ability to read and accurately use calipers and micrometers.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Forklift experience required.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Machinist experience preferred.
