Key Responsibilities
- Diagnostic Imaging: Capture high-quality digital dental X-rays and intraoral images.
- Chairside Assisting: Provide seamless, 4-handed chairside assistance during preventive, restorative, cosmetic, and emergency procedures.
- Patient Care: Greet patients, review medical histories, and ensure a comfortable, anxiety-free experience throughout their visit.
- Operatory Management: Sterilize instruments, prepare treatment rooms, and strictly maintain OSHA and HIPAA compliance standards.
- Clinical Support: Assist with taking impressions, preparing dental materials, managing patient records, and delivering post-treatment care instructions.
Requirements
- 1 – 3 years of hands-on Dental Assistant experience in a general or family dentistry practice (REQUIRED).
- Active Arizona Radiologic Technology / Dental Radiology Certification (REQUIRED).
- Active CPR / BLS Certification.
- Dental Assistant Certification (e.g., DANB, accredited program completion, or equivalent state certification).
- Strong chairside manner and a genuine commitment to patient comfort.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (Highly Preferred).
- Experience with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental).
- Arizona Coronal Polish Certification.
- Experience assisting with digital diagnostics, crowns, bridges, and sedation dentistry.
