Job Details:
As a CAD Design/Drafter I, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and models using computer-aided design (CAD) software. You will work closely with engineers and architects to translate conceptual designs into detailed plans and schematics.
Functions:
- Create 3D drawings and models based on specifications provided by engineers or architects.
- Review and interpret rough sketches, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Use CAD software to generate accurate and detailed drawings of parts, assemblies, and structures. Incorporate design changes and revisions as directed by project stakeholders.
- Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design issues and optimize designs for manufacturability.
- Maintain organized file management and documentation of drawings and project files.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree or technical certificate in Computer-Aided Design, Drafting, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in CAD design and drafting.
- Proficiency in Creo Parametric software is a MUST.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawing creation.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, sketches, and specifications.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.
- Familiarity with drafting standards and best practices.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with 3D modeling and simulation software.
- Familiarity with mechanical design principles (for mechanical drafters).
- Certification in CAD software or drafting.
- 3-5 years of experience using Creo Parametric software.
Salary : $35 - $40
