What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil CAD Drafter position at PDDM Workforce?
As a CAD Designer you'll be working with project teams that create plan sets and deliverables for our diverse clients. We are involved in many of today’s most successful market sectors including energy development, commercial and residential development, healthcare, industrial and public sector markets. You will work from detailed sketches and verbal or written direction to produce computer-generated models, plans, base maps, profiles, cross-sections, details, figures, overlays and simple isometric drawings. 2 years' experience.
- Provide AutoCAD design support for various Civil Engineering and Construction projects
- Prepare and label preliminary layouts and detailed design drawings from engineering notes, sketches, and/or other drawings
- Work directly with project engineers to learn design skills for a variety of projects

Skills and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- Associate degree with related AutoCAD experience preferred
- Certificate in an AutoCAD related training course or work equivalent
- 2-5 years of related AutoCAD experience
- Understanding of creation and compilation of construction drawings using AutoCAD or Civil3D
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Capability to work independently and as a team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
- AutoCAD/Civil 3D training and/or relative experience.

- Ability to speak and write professionally.
