Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Electrician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings, ensuring adherence to all safety procedures and local electrical codes.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to accurately execute installations and repairs.
- Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults within complex electrical systems.
- Manage high-voltage and low-voltage wiring tasks safely and efficiently across construction sites or renovation projects.
- Use hand tools and power tools to install conduit, wiring, circuit breakers, panels, and other electrical components.
- Conduct routine inspections of industrial electrical systems to prevent failures and ensure ongoing compliance with NFPA 70 standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to deliver quality work on time while maintaining a safe work environment.
Skills
- Extensive experience working as an industrial electrician with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems.
- Proven commercial electrician experience with knowledge of high-voltage electrical wiring and low-voltage systems.
- Deep familiarity with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), and local electrical codes for compliance purposes.
- Skilled in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, schematics, and blueprints reading for accurate installation planning.
- Proficient in troubleshooting complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and circuit testers.
- Ability to work safely following all electrical safety procedures while handling high-voltage wiring or performing renovation projects.
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks within industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of construction site safety protocols combined with hands-on experience in construction or renovation environments.
- Adept at using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment necessary for precise electrical work.
