Parts Puller
Department: Manufacturing – Mold Pull/Demold
Location: Martinsburg, West Virginia
Reports To: Production Supervisor or Parts Pull/Trim Team Lead
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Position Summary
The Parts Puller is responsible for safely removing cured bathware products from production molds while protecting the finished surface, maintaining product quality, and ensuring efficient production flow. This position performs visual quality inspections, identifies product defects, and stages finished units for the Trim Department in accordance with safety, quality, and production standards.
Essential Job Responsibilities
· Safely remove cured products from production molds using approved tools and equipment.
· Verify products are ready for demolding before removal.
· Handle products carefully to prevent damage to finished surfaces or molds.
· Use lifting devices, carts, fixtures, or team lifting techniques when required.
· Perform visual inspections for cracks, chips, voids, surface defects, contamination, or other quality concerns.
· Properly identify and label products to maintain production traceability.
· Segregate and report defective or nonconforming products to the Team Lead or Quality Department.
· Maintain proper product flow to the Trim Department.
· Inspect molds for damage, excessive buildup, or abnormalities and report issues immediately.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area using established housekeeping and 5S standards.
· Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
· Assist in other production areas as assigned.
QualificationsRequired
· Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
· Strong attention to detail.

· Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
· Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules as required.
Preferred
· High school diploma or GED.
· Previous manufacturing or production experience.
· Experience with fiberglass, composites, plastics, or assembly operations.
· Material handling or demolding experience.
Physical Requirements
The employee must be able to:
· Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
· Frequently bend, stoop, twist, reach, push, and pull.
· Frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds.
· Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
· Safely handle large or awkward products using mechanical lifting devices or team lifting techniques.
· Maintain hand-eye coordination and visual acuity necessary to identify product defects.
Work Environment
This position is performed in a manufacturing environment and may involve exposure to:
· Fiberglass dust and strands
· Resin odors and vapors
· Production equipment and conveyors
· Noise requiring hearing protection
· Heat, humidity, and varying temperatures
· Moving machinery and powered industrial equipment
Employees are required to wear all assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and comply with all company safety policies.
