Required Education, Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related scientific field (required).
- Minimum 9 years of laboratory management experience in settings with similar high complexity and high testing volumes.
- Proven leadership of large teams within high-volume clinical laboratory environments.
- Experience managing technical or platform transitions, ideally across multiple sites.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with CAP and federal/state clinical laboratory regulations.
- Strong track record of developing leaders, increasing bench strength, and elevating organizational capability.
- Effective communicator skilled at building trust, engagement, and morale across diverse teams.
- Strong ability to set performance standards and drive accountability through influence and collaboration.
- Commitment to fostering a culture of belonging, continuous development, and mentorship.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Certificates, Licensure & Registrations
- Florida Supervisor License in Microbiology or Generalist (required upon relocation to Florida if not already held).
- Medical Technologist registry required (ASCP, AMT, AAB, or equivalent).
Salary : $140,000 - $170,000
