Schedule:

Mon/Tues: 8 am – 5 pm

Wed: 8 am-6 pm

Thur: 9:30 am- 6 pm

Fri: 8 am-12 pm

Lunch 12:00 PM- 12:30 PM

This location does BAT, UDS, spiro, hearing, EKG, FIT testing

Looking for Medical Assistant who will perform Front/Back Office duties and must be comfortable to draw blood.

(must have good phlebotomy skills in the past 12 months)

Responsibilities

The Medical Assistant is responsible for supporting both the front and back office, including greeting and rooming patients, scheduling, answering phones, taking vitals, drawing blood, administering vaccines, and providing additional clinical support wherever needed. Maintaining a collaborative relationship with the center's staff is a key ingredient to success in this position.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of medical assistant experience (in addition to an externship)

Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred

Occupational Health experience strongly preferred

Phlebotomy/veni puncture and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required

Attention to detail, ability to communicate effectively with patients and strong computer skills required
