We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 7-week contract assignment in Parkersburg, West Virginia. The LPN will provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nursing staff while supporting residents in a skilled nursing environment.

This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality patient care during overnight shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care under RN supervision
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to nursing staff
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Support wound care and basic clinical procedures
Ensure patient safety and follow infection control protocols
Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver quality care
Provide patient and family education within scope of practice

Requirements
───────────────────────────
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of West Virginia or compact/eligible license
Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
Current CPR/BLS certification (if required by facility standards)
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred in skilled nursing or long-term care
Ability to work overnight 12-hour shifts
Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
Ability to perform in a fast-paced healthcare environment
