POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for two motivated Physical Therapists to join our growing outpatient therapy team in Cheraw, SC. You will work with a diverse patient population, providing evaluation and treatment services across a variety of orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, neurological, and post-surgical conditions in an outpatient clinical setting, with a focus on functional recovery and patient-centred care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Perform initial evaluations and develop patient-specific treatment plans targeting functional goals and return to activity
● Administer and progress outpatient physical therapy interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities
● Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to meet evolving goals
● Communicate effectively with referring physicians and other healthcare providers regarding patient status and care plans
● Provide patient and caregiver education on home exercise programmes, injury prevention, and self-management strategies
● Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR system in compliance with regulatory and organisational standards
● Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture and participate in department and organisational initiatives
REQUIREMENTS — MUST HAVE
● Graduate of an accredited physical therapy programme (DPT or equivalent)
● Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy licence in the state of South Carolina
● Current CPR certification
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
● Previous experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient clinical setting
