Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care across diverse healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise, including critical care, long-term care, and emergency medicine, with a strong emphasis on patient assessment, medication administration, and medical documentation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in various facilities, delivering compassionate care while maintaining compliance with healthcare standards and regulations. The Travel LPN will be instrumental in supporting patient recovery and well-being through expert nursing interventions and collaborative teamwork.

Duties

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to inform care plans.
• Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions and catheterizations, following established protocols.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth to ensure precise medical records.
• Assist with complex procedures such as ventilator management, tube feeding, spinal taps, and sterile processing when necessary.
• Provide specialized care for patients with conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, infectious diseases, or those requiring hospice or palliative care.

Skills

• SNF LPN with minimum 2 years of experience.
• BLS and current NYS license required.
