Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in postpartum care to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in maternal and newborn health, demonstrating expertise in patient assessment, education, and support during the critical postpartum period. This role offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive care to new mothers and their infants, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and positive recovery experience. The RN Postpartum will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while adhering to all safety and compliance standards.

Duties

• Conduct thorough postpartum assessments of mothers and newborns, including vital signs, physical examinations, and emotional well-being evaluations.
• Administer medications and treatments such as IV infusions, suturing, and pain management tailored to postpartum needs.
• Educate new mothers on breastfeeding techniques, infant care, postpartum recovery, and family planning options.
• Monitor for signs of complications such as infection, hemorrhage, or neonatal distress, intervening promptly as needed.
• Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in Postpartum.
• RN License.
• BLS Certification.
• ACLS Certification.
• NRP Certification.
