Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, train, and develop dining services staff

• Oversee daily food service operations in a fast-paced environment

• Manage staffing, scheduling, inventory, and purchasing

• Ensure food quality, consistency, presentation, and portion control standards

• Maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations

• Monitor food and labor costs while achieving operational goals

• Build strong relationships with customers and team members

• Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives

• Support menu planning and dining center communications

• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on service excellence

Qualifications

✔️ 3 years of progressive food service management experience

✔️ Food Safety Manager Certification (ServSafe or equivalent)

✔️ Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills

✔️ Experience managing inventory, purchasing, scheduling, and daily operations

✔️ Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

✔️ Associate Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field preferred
