What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Manager position at Amanda Manufacturing?
Overview
Payroll Manager: Responsible for the entry and processing of production payroll for 150 employees, which in addition to producing the earnings made by the shop floor employees, also controls the inventory flow.
Job Duties:
· Verify the accuracy of payroll data entered through the shop floor scan system including: quantity, time, and pay codes
· Data entry of manual timesheets
· Review summary reports of earnings to check for accuracy/missing data
· Communicate with employees regarding timesheets, personnel department, and inventory control on a daily basis.
· Process weekly payroll
· Track employee vacation balances, etc.
· Assist other departments as needed
Must be able to use a calculator
Must have good data entry skills
Must be able to communicate well
Must be able to pass a Background check and Drug Screen
Strong attention to detail and reliable attendance is a must.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
