Pay: $22 to $25 per hour depending on experience performance-based bonus

We are non-medical home care agency in North Tampa seeking someone for a part-time position approx. 25 hours/week with strong leadership qualities who can take ownership of caregiver recruiting and scheduling operations. The ideal candidate must have Home Care experience, is confident in decision making in a fast-paced environment, and can independently manage caregiver staffing, urgent callouts, and compliance record keeping without constant oversight. Applications without direct home care experience will not be considered.
Full-time hours may be considered depending on candidate experience. There is also potential to grow into full-time as needs increase, or based on candidate performance.
Responsibilities
Scheduling:
- Build and maintain weekly caregiver schedules
- Handle same day call outs and fill open shifts promptly
- Communicate schedule updates clearly to caregivers
- Maintain caregiver availability records
- Required experience with Home Care scheduling tools such as AxisCare, WellSky or similar platforms for scheduling, caregiver record management, and shift coverage
Recruiting:
- Post caregiver positions and manage incoming applicants
- Conduct interviews
- Make hiring decisions
- Move applicants through onboarding steps
- Hands-on experience with using Home Care tools such a really, Apploi etc. to source, screen, and hire caregivers
Onboarding and Administrative Support:
- Collect required caregiver documents including CPR, TB test, background check, auto insurance, and identification
- Update caregiver profiles and maintain accurate files
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
- Coordinate documentation with the RN and agency leadership
Background and Skills:
- Home care agency scheduling or office coordination
- CNA or HHA experience combined with office or scheduling experience
Requirements
- Experience handling scheduling or staffing changes
- Clear communication by phone, text, and email
- Reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate scheduling platforms, applicant tracking tools, and digital files.
