Shields Point LLC has a dynamic opportunity for Alarm Monitors in support of the Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) Protective Services Contract in Phoenix Arizona. Alarm Monitors monitor systems to support safety and security protocols, property and assets. The position includes 8/12 hours shifts on days, nights, and weekends.

Alarm Monitors monitor systems to support safety and security protocols, property and assets. The position includes 8/12 hours shifts on days, nights, and weekends.
- Perform all tasks according to the Performance Work Statement, Post orders and SOPs.
- Experience in alarm monitoring, able to coordinate and document alarm assessments, hazardous conditions, facility maintenance issues, medical emergencies including dispatching staff and guards for regional specific alarms.
- Ability to make time sensitive notifications to the government, supervisors, PM and other government agencies as required.
- Ability to monitor CCTV systems and report activations, suspicious and criminal activity in accordance with Post Orders and SOPs.
- Ability to manage emergencies and situations in a calm and effective manner.
- Ability to professionally communicate both internally and externally.
- Ability to submit written documentation in accordance with procedures.
- Perform other duties as directed.
- U.S. Citizen.
- At least 21 Years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or GED certificate.
- Able to pass a medical examination, drug screen, federal background investigation when required.
- Must have two or any reasonable combination of the following:
- Three years of experience in the security industry, military, or law enforcement.
- Associate degree or completion of twenty-four college credits.
- Active, retired or honorably discharged service in the U.S. Armed Forces, National Guard, or Reserve.
- Graduation from a law enforcement basic academy.
- Alarm Monitors must possess two years of experience in alarm monitoring, or equivalent military and/or law enforcement experience.
- When required, successfully complete all alarm monitor training, including CPR and First Aid.
- Must fluently speak, read, and comprehend English.
- Possess good communications skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts.
