We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our innovative manufacturing team. Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive quality audits across production processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Conduct detailed quality inspections on raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods to verify adherence to specifications.
  • Develop and maintain quality management documentation, including procedures, checklists, and audit reports.
  • Collect and analyze data related to product quality metrics, identifying trends and root causes of defects or non-conformities.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement corrective actions and process improvements based on audit findings and inspection results.
  • Monitor adherence to quality systems and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Support training initiatives by educating staff on quality assurance procedures, inspection techniques, and best practices.
  • Performing routine inspections in accordance with control plans and customer requirements.
  • Performing incoming inspection, including interpretation and documenting the results.
  • Monitoring of the serial production through inspections, analysis, interpretation of the results and reporting to appropriate personnel.
  • Providing back-up support for CMM Operators.
  • Follow up on shop floor to ensure machines have proper documents and gauges in accordance with established work instructions.
  • Assisting in PPAP inspections and preparing associated documents.
  • Conducting random inspections on shop floor at established frequencies.
  • Maintaining the blocking area in accordance with established standards.
  • Coordinating with Production team on sorting and identifying suspect material.

Experience

  • Computer knowledge including Microsoft.
  • Ability to read, write English and communicate with all teams.
  • Use various of measuring device.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management principles, systems, and standards such as ISO or similar frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience conducting quality audits and inspections using QA/QC methodologies.
  • Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data, identify issues, and recommend solutions effectively.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality systems, and technical documentation is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting. Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
