Aluma-Form Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving quality improvements, implement effective quality systems, and use data-driven methodologies to enhance product and process performance.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and improve manufacturing processes to ensure product quality and compliance with internal and external standards.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformities.
- Develop and maintain documentation such as control plans, inspection instructions, and quality procedures.
- Document, track, and review Supplier Issues through supplier corrective actions.
- Support internal and external audits; ensure readiness for customer quality system assessments.
- Lead or support quality initiatives, including process capability studies, FMEA, and Problem Solving.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Production, Customer Service, Supply Chain) to resolve quality-related issues.
- Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma tools.
- Train and support production staff on quality procedures and best practices.
Work Environment:
- This position is primarily based in a manufacturing setting, with occasional time spent in office and lab areas.
- Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
- May require limited travel (<10%) for supplier visits and outlying facilities. Current passport required.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Quality Engineering or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., root cause analysis, CAPA, FMEA).
- Solid understanding of quality management systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Background in Continuous Improvement initiatives or Kaizen leadership.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or Lean Practitioner Certification.
- Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, and supplier quality management.
