Altius Talent is representing a rapidly growing logistics provider specializing in port services, drayage, and intermodal solutions. The company partners with global importers, 3PLs, and enterprise shippers to deliver reliable end-to-end container movement and exceptional customer service.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Drayage Sales professional with a proven track record selling port-to-warehouse and container drayage services. The ideal candidate has deep relationships within the import/export ecosystem and understands the operational dynamics of ports, terminals, and transloading facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new drayage business with shippers, freight forwarders, brokers, and 3PLs
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and quoting to deal closure and onboarding
- Build and maintain relationships within port & intermodal networks
- Collaborate with ops, dispatch, and customer success to ensure performance & service delivery
- Track pipeline activity and provide accurate forecasting and reporting
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, or customer meetings as needed
Required Experience
- 2–7 years selling drayage, intermodal, or containerized transportation services
- Existing book of business or strong industry relationships preferred
- Deep understanding of port operations, terminals, chassis pools, demurrage/detention, free time, and inland moves
- Ability to price/quote drayage lanes and negotiate margins
- Familiarity with TMS systems, visibility platforms, and operational workflows
