Job Summary
Alpitronic is a leading provider of high-performance DC fast charging solutions for electric vehicles. As demand for EV infrastructure continues to grow, we are expanding our U.S. manufacturing operations and are seeking Bay Build Operators to help assemble and prepare our industry-leading charging systems.
In this role, you will work with charger housings, power modules, and other components manufactured in Italy, assembling them into completed EV fast chargers at our Charlotte facility. Key Responsibilities
- Assemble EV fast charging equipment using detailed work instructions and assembly procedures.
- Install and secure mechanical and electrical components within charger cabinets and power stacks.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment to complete product builds.
- Perform visual inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
- Identify and report defects, damaged parts, or assembly issues.
- Support product testing and troubleshooting activities as needed.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
- Keep workstations organized and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Manufacturing, assembly, production, automotive, construction, or mechanical experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow written instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
- Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and moving materials.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and wear required PPE.
