We are seeking a Controls Technician with hands-on experience in Tridium Niagara (N4), Honeywell, or Schneider Electric systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, programming, commissioning, and servicing building automation systems for commercial and institutional facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission HVAC control systems and BAS hardware/software
- Program and troubleshoot Niagara N4, Honeywell, or Schneider Electric controllers
- Integrate systems using BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks protocols
- Perform site diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and system repairs
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and electricians to ensure quality installations
- Document as-built configurations and provide detailed service reports
- Provide technical support and training to clients as needed
- 3 years of experience with HVAC controls or building automation systems
- Working knowledge of Niagara N4, Honeywell, or Schneider Electric platforms
- Understanding of control theory, sequence of operations, and HVAC systems
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and control drawings
- Familiarity with low-voltage electrical wiring and network communication
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
- Niagara N4 certification or equivalent factory training
- Experience with energy management systems or analytics platforms
- Basic IT/networking knowledge (IP addressing, routers, switches)
- Experience in retrofit, upgrade, and integration projects
