As a Panel Shop Fabricator at ACE, you will play a crucial role in our organization by assembling and calibrating control panel packages with precision and expertise. Working within a shop environment, you will ensure the functionality and quality of each panel, exceeding our customers' expectations and contributing to the success of ACE.
The Job:
- Assemble and calibrate automation and control panel packages, adhering to strict quality standards.
- Analyze panel specifications and schematics to determine appropriate assembly methods and corrective actions.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, job orders, and instructions to execute tasks accurately.
- Work meticulously within tight tolerances to maintain product quality and performance.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Utilize knowledge of industry specific techniques to ensure proper panel assembly.
- Demonstrate flexibility to work in both shop and customer-owned facilities as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical Degree or equivalent experience in panel fabrication, preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use basic hand tools effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling clear and concise interaction with colleagues and clients.
- Commitment to quality and safety, with a proactive approach to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet critical deadlines consistently.
