Seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician.
Responsibilities Include
Work Environment: Day shift at a hospital facility, providing essential nursing services within the Gastrointestinal Diagnostic Lab department.
Responsibilities Include
- Delivering individualized patient care based on delegated plans, addressing physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, and educational needs.
- Monitoring and documenting patient status, including vital signs, dressings, drains, and lab results.
- Communicating patient observations and changes in condition to healthcare team.
- Maintaining accurate, confidential medical records.
- Using specialized equipment for data collection and orienting patients and families to routines.
- Administering and documenting medications per policy.
- Performing additional assigned duties as needed.
- Completion of an accredited LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing.
- At least one year of LPN experience or equivalent residency/training programs.
- Current LPN license recognized by the NCSBN Compact or the state.
- If obtaining RN licensure, immediate notification is required.
