Job Title: HR representative
Location: Fargo, ND (on-site)
Duration: 6 Months (Potential for Extension)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 40 hours/week
About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated HR Representative to join our team in Fargo, ND. This role is ideal for an early-career HR professional who is looking to gain hands-on experience across multiple HR functions including employee relations, recruitment, compliance, and training.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and administer compensation, benefits, recruitment, training, organizational development, and payroll activities
Partner with managers to identify HR challenges and provide effective solutions and guidance
Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and organizational policies
Assist in designing and delivering HR training programs and initiatives
Support employees with career development, HR inquiries, and workplace concerns
Contribute to building a positive and productive workplace culture
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field OR 4 years of relevant HR experience in lieu of a degree
Up to 2 years of HR experience with a strong understanding of core HR functions
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
Key Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint preferred)
Highly organized with strong multitasking and prioritization skills
