We are looking for a motivated Collections Specialist to join a leading financial services organization focused on private education loans. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, negotiation, and customer interaction in a fast-paced environment.
π Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of delinquent accounts
- Contact customers via phone, email, and written communication
- Negotiate payment arrangements and resolve outstanding balances
- Maintain accurate documentation of all collection activities
- Provide professional and empathetic customer service
- Perform skip tracing to locate hard-to-reach customers

- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to handle challenging conversations professionally
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Willingness to work flexible shifts (including evenings/weekends)
π Preferred Background
- High School Diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
- 0β1 years of collections or customer service experience
- Experience with CRM tools / collections systems
- Knowledge of debt collection regulations is a plus

- 10 AM β 7 PM
- 12 PM β 9 PM
