Pay Rate: $23.00/hr
One year contract.
Temp to Perm Opportunity.
12 hour rotating shifts.
Qualifications:
100% onsite
Additional medical exams are required along with the drug screening. Please see attached document.
Opportunity for temporary assignment to become a permanent position.
EXPERIENCE:
The preferred candidate will have 2 years’ experience in a lab position of increasing responsibility.
EDUCATION:
Associates degree in Chemistry, Biology or other science with a minimum 6 months of industrial experience in an QA/QC, R&D, Analytical or Environmental laboratory environment
OR
High School Diploma or equivalent with minimum 3 years of relevant industrial lab experience in either a QA/QC, R&D, Analytical or Environmental Laboratory required.
NOTE: All candidates must be willing and able to work 12-hour rotating shifts including weekends. They will NOT be working 7 days a week. Usually one week is 36 hrs (3 days @ 12 hrs per day), the following week could then be 48 hrs (4 days @ 12 hrs per day); and not all days in a row. HM is flexible to work with the contractor on the work hours.
Responsibilities:
The purpose of this role is to provide lab support to the manufacturing process and confirm quality of product before shipment to customer.
Conducting analytical testing on emulsion polymerization products and plant wastewater in support of In-Process and Finished Goods 24/7 ISO 9001 manufacturing operations.
Accurately measure physical properties (e.g. pH, viscosity, solids, PSD) and composition (e.g. GC, HPLC, FTIR, titrations) for Latex products.
This role requires data entry into and pulling information from LIMS (IQS), SAP, and other software packages.
Attention to accuracy for performing tests and communicating results.
Attention to detail is a key attribute.

Selected candidate must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
