Manufacturing Operator (Flex)
Pay: $17-18/hr
Hours: 1st Shift | 6:30-5:00PM | Monday-Thursday (Fridays Off!)
We are looking for a dependable Manufacturing Operator to join our production team in a fast-paced environment. Innovative medical device solutions in neonatal care, vascular access, and USP <800> approved products.
About the Role
As a Manufacturing Operator, you will perform a variety of production tasks including assembly, bonding, filling, packing, inspection, and equipment operation. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, flexible, and comfortable working in multiple production areas.
What You’ll Do
- Assemble, bond, fill, pack, label, and kit products.
- Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment.
- Inspect products to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain accurate production, time, and traceability records.
- Support machine changeovers, cleaning, and material handling.
- Identify and report quality issues, equipment problems, and safety concerns.
- Follow all safety, hygiene, PPE, and line clearance procedures.
- Operate a pallet jack as needed.
- Work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED.
- 6 months or more of related experience, technical training, or vocational school preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills
- Ability to read and follow instructions, labels, and production documents in English.
- Basic math skills.
- Good hand-eye coordination and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different production areas.
- Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP experience preferred.
Schedule
- 4 days per week
- 10 hours per day
- Overtime may be required
Work Environment
- Manufacturing areas may include clean room, pack out, extrusion, injection, and warehouse.
- Must be able to stand for the full shift and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
