Manufacturing Operator

Job Summary

KRI-Color, LLC in Sanford ME is looking to hire a full-time manufacturing operator. We specialize in producing custom additives and colorants for the silicone industry. Prior experience is not necessary, willing to train the right individual. Must be energetic, have an excellent attendance history and able to pass a skills test (math & reading), physical and drug screen. We do NOT accept medical marijuana cards. Strong attention to detail is a must. Benefits package available after 30 days.

Job Requirements:

1. Strong attention to detail.

2. Ability to maintain a high degree of cleanliness (self & equipment)

3. Must be able to lift up to 75lbs on a regular basis.

4. Ability to read and comprehend written and verbal work instructions.

5. Ability to follow safety procedures around heavy equipment- mills, mixers, fork trucks.

6. Cannot be color blind.

7. Must enjoy working in a small team environment.

Eligible, after 30 days, for monthly bonus program associated with producing good material.

Summary of Job Duties

1. Operate large two roll mills adding 55 lb. bags of powdered pigment and polymers (packaging in 50 lb. boxes when finished)

2. Operate dispersion mixers adding fluids and powdered pigments

3. Operate 3 roll mills (adding pigments to mill and removing them for packaging)

4. Operate various floor washers.

5. Clean floors and equipment throughout the day as you operate machinery

6. Wrapping and palletizing boxes for shipment

7. Operate various fork lifts

8. Other duties as needed
