Scheduler
We are seeking an experienced Scheduler to support a growing portfolio of engineering and construction projects in a highly technical manufacturing environment. This position will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules for projects ranging from approximately $10K to $2M.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project, a solid understanding of construction/project scheduling principles, and the ability to coordinate schedule information across engineering, contractors, vendors, and operations. Experience working around cleanrooms, controlled environments, or other restricted-access facilities is highly valuable.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Create detailed activity dictionaries, logic, durations, constraints, and resource/craft loading.
- Integrate subcontractor schedules, vendor milestones, engineering deliverables, and project activities.
- Prepare baseline, recovery, and look-ahead schedules, including weekly and monthly updates.
- Develop progress curves, S-curves, Gantt charts, milestone reports, and percent-complete summaries.
- Perform critical path analysis, float management, schedule risk analysis, and scenario planning.
- Identify schedule risks and recommend mitigation and recovery strategies.
- Coordinate schedule inputs from engineers, contractors, vendors, and operations to ensure proper sequencing and accurate access windows.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience creating and managing project schedules preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Experience developing and maintaining schedules for construction, engineering, industrial, manufacturing, or similar projects.
- Understanding of critical path method (CPM), schedule logic, baselines, float, resource loading, and schedule variance analysis.
Salary : $65,000 - $100,000
