About the Role:
We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a growing construction team and take ownership of projects from preconstruction through completion. This is an opportunity for a hands-on construction leader with strong field experience who can manage project financials, schedules, subcontractors, risk, and client relationships while mentoring and developing project teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead projects with a focus on safety, quality, schedule, budget, and customer satisfaction
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, designers, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Participate heavily in preconstruction, including subcontractor prequalification, risk assessments, procurement strategy, constructability reviews, and value engineering
- Lead the development and presentation of project GMPs and project budgets
- Develop procurement strategies and negotiate with subcontractors and trade partners
- Oversee project cost control, forecasting, financial management, and change management
- Develop and manage project schedules while identifying and mitigating schedule risks
- Review contracts and identify potential project risks and contractual concerns
- Lead project teams through challenges involving financial, schedule, quality, and construction issues
- Maintain strong communication between field and office teams throughout construction
- Lead lessons-learned initiatives and share best practices across project teams
- Mentor and develop Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other team members
- Assist with onboarding, training, employee development, and team retention
Qualifications:
- Extensive commercial construction project management experience
- Significant hands-on, onsite/field construction experience
- Strong understanding of preconstruction and procurement processes
- Experience with subcontractor prequalification and trade partner negotiations
- Ability to perform project risk assessments and develop risk-mitigation strategies
- Experience developing project budgets, GMPs, schedules, and forecasts
- Strong contract and document control knowledge
- Ability to lead constructability reviews and value engineering efforts
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to mentor and develop project teams
- Adaptable and comfortable managing challenging project conditions and personalities

Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
