We’re seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support a high-volume, multi-location payroll operation across multiple states. This role is ideal for someone who wants to work in an accounting environment while still maintaining a work-life balance. This individual brings strong payroll compliance knowledge, and can manage the full payroll process with accuracy and professionalism. You’ll play a key role in payroll preparation and processing, reporting, reconciliations, garnishments, tax support, and maintaining documentation that keeps payroll running smoothly.

- Process payroll accurately and efficiently within the full payroll accounting cycle.
- Manage garnishments, payroll deductions, and related documentation.
- Review payroll reports for accuracy and assist with month-end reconciliations and journal entries.
- Support tax-related payroll functions, including reporting review and W-2 accuracy.
- Accounting degree preferred, but not required.
- High-volume payroll experience, preferably supporting 1,000 employees.
- Working knowledge of journal entries, general ledger activity, account reconciliations, garnishments, payroll deductions, and compliance-related payroll tasks.
- SAP experience highly encouraged, Paycor a plus. Solid Excel skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
