ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEquipment and Resource Coordination:
- Track and coordinate movement of heavy equipment, vehicles, and specialized machinery across multiple disaster response sites
- Maintain realtime equipment inventory and utilization tracking systems documenting location, status, and deployment schedules
- Coordinate equipment mobilization and demobilization activities including transportation, permits, and site preparations
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules, repair coordination, and fuel management to ensure operational readiness
- Procure materials, supplies, and equipment required for debris removal, construction, and environmental operations
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, and process purchase orders in compliance with contract requirements
- Coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers, freight carriers, and project managers to meet operational deadlines
- Maintain inventory control systems tracking materials from procurement through consumption and final disposition
- Plan and coordinate transportation of personnel, equipment, and materials to disaster response and construction sites
- Arrange logistics for rapid deployment operations including lodging, meals, and field support facilities
- Coordinate with transportation providers for specialized hauling, heavy equipment transport, and emergency mobilizations
- Manage fleet operations including vehicle assignments, maintenance coordination, and fuel card administration
- Maintain comprehensive logistics documentation including equipment logs, material tracking records, and vendor invoices
- Prepare daily logistics status reports documenting equipment locations, material deliveries, and pending requirements
- Track logistics costs and budget expenditures providing regular financial reports to project management
- Ensure compliance with FEMA documentation requirements for equipment usage, material costs, and vendor payments
- Serve as primary liaison between project sites, vendors, suppliers, and corporate logistics operations
- Participate in daily project coordination meetings providing logistics status updates and resource availability
- Coordinate with Quality Control, Safety, and Operations teams to anticipate resource requirements and resolve supply issues
- Respond to urgent logistics requests and equipment breakdowns requiring immediate resolution
- Minimum 3 years experience in logistics, operations support, or supply chain management for construction, demolition, or debris management projects
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently coordinate and track equipment, materials, and resource movement across multiple work sites
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, inventory management software, and logistics tracking systems
- Ability to pass drug screening and background check
- Experience with FEMA disaster response operations or governmentfunded projects strongly preferred
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to provide documentation establishing identity and employment eligibility as required by Form I9 and without sponsorship.
- Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD) or Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) certification
- FEMA ICS100, ICS200, IS700 (NIMS Introduction), and IS800 (National Response Framework) certifications
- Experience with construction management software such as Procore, BuilderTrend, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operations, transportation regulations, and DOT compliance requirements
- Experience with government procurement processes and contract compliance documentation
- Comprehensive understanding of logistics operations, supply chain management, and inventory control principles
- Knowledge of construction materials, heavy equipment capabilities, and disaster debris removal operations
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage competing priorities across multiple project sites
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with vendors, contractors, and project management teams
- Proficiency with logistics software, GPS tracking systems, and database management applications
- Problemsolving skills to quickly resolve supply chain disruptions and equipment availability issues
- Ability to work under pressure in fastpaced disaster response environments with changing priorities
- Strong attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with documentation requirements
