What are the responsibilities and job description for the Broadband Technician position at Alliance Global Solutions?
Alliance Global Solutions is seeking Broadband Technician in the Huntsville, Alabama. Join our growing AND expanding Fiber Optics team. In this role, you will be installing fiber in customer's homes and setting up Wi-Fi equipment, while providing excellent customer service. Applicants will be trained for in-home installations.
Alliance Global Solutions may provide a company vehicle, gas card or stipend, tools, and uniforms!
Responsibilities:
- Customer-facing with daily meet appointments
- Installation and troubleshooting of fiber and internet
- Serve as customer resources for product and service recommendations
- Meeting goals for installations
- Being professional and courteous to clients
- Maintaining accurate inventory
- Required to travel within county areas.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of intrusion alarm, low-voltage, or similar experience/education (required)
- Knowledge of smartphones and tablets
- Ability to work proficiently unsupervised
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and a clean driving record
- All candidates must be physically able to climb ladders, work in crawl spaces, and lift to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work with basic tools: extension ladders and hand tools

Salary: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
Schedule: 4 days/8-10 hours shifts. Must be willing to work overtime.
