What are the responsibilities and job description for the Broadband Technician position at AMR Resources LLC?
Multiband Global is seeking Broadband Field Technicians to join our growing AND expanding Fiber Optics team. In this role, you will be installing fiber to customers’ homes, and businesses and setting up Wi-Fi equipment, while providing excellent customer service. Applicants will be trained for pole drops and in-home installations. Multiband Global provides supplies for the truck, gas card, tools, and uniforms!
Responsibilities
- Customer-facing daily with meeting daily appointments
- Installation and troubleshooting of fiber, phone, and video installations
- Serve as customer resources for product and service recommendations that meet the customer’s needs
- Meeting metrics for installations and sales
- Being professional and courteous to clients
- Maintaining accurate inventory
- travel within county areas
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of smartphones and tablets
- Ability to work proficiently unsupervised
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check, proof of residency, clean driving record, and drug screening
- All candidates must be physically able to climb ladders, work in crawl spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work with basic tools: extension ladders, drills, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
- 1-2 years of intrusion alarm, low-voltage, or similar experience/education preferred not required
