Schedule: Full-Time | 3×12 Hour Day Shifts (7a–7p) | Rotating Weekends
Position Overview
Allendale Behavioral Health is hiring a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support adult patients receiving inpatient mental health and psychiatric care. This role focuses on compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in collaboration with our RN and provider teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor patient condition and report changes to RN or provider
- Administer medications and treatments within LPN scope of practice
- Assist with patient assessments and daily medical needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR
- Uphold patient rights, confidentiality, and ethical care standards
- Support safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
- Current LPN license in the State of Indiana
- Experience in mental health, psychiatric, or substance use treatment preferred
- Compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to patient care
- Strong time management and communication skills
