As Concrete Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing field operations on large commercial concrete projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires extensive travel and the ability to manage crews across multiple project locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise all on-site concrete construction activities.
- Coordinate labor, equipment, subcontractors, and materials.
- Manage project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved.
- Enforce company safety policies and maintain a strong safety culture.
- Conduct daily site meetings and communicate project progress with management and clients.
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Monitor productivity, quality control, and project costs.
- Identify and resolve field issues proactively to minimize delays.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience as a Superintendent managing commercial concrete projects.
- Strong knowledge of cast-in-place concrete, foundations, slabs, tilt-up, paving, and structural concrete.
- Proven experience leading field crews on projects valued at $5M .
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to job site safety and quality standards.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work on projects throughout the region.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
