Job Summary
Now hiring a Spanish Bilingual Medical Assistant for a contract/temporary opportunity in the Hesperia and Victorville, CA area. This role is ideal for a patient-focused Medical Assistant with strong front and back office skills, lab experience, and the ability to support a busy healthcare setting with professionalism and compassion.
The Medical Assistant will work closely with providers and clinical staff to support daily patient care, room patients, take vitals, perform phlebotomy and lab duties, update EMR records, and assist with scheduling and follow-up. This is a great opportunity for a Medical Assistant who enjoys a fast-paced medical office environment, values teamwork, and wants to contribute to quality patient care in the High Desert community.
This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, supportive clinical teamwork, and the opportunity to use both bilingual communication skills and hands-on medical assisting experience in a meaningful patient care role.
Key Responsibilities
- Room patients, obtain vital signs, and prepare patients for provider visits.
- Assist providers with patient care, procedures, and clinical workflow.
- Perform lab duties, including phlebotomy and specimen collection as needed.
- Update patient records and complete accurate EMR documentation.
- Support front and back office functions, including scheduling and patient follow-up.
- Communicate clearly with Spanish-speaking patients to support a positive care experience.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $24.00 to $25.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
- Location: Hesperia / Victorville, CA area.
