Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Charge Nurse for a direct hire opportunity in Victorville, CA. This role is ideal for a clinically strong RN who is ready to lead nursing operations in a Congregate Living Health Facility or similar long-term care environment.
The Registered Nurse - Charge Nurse will oversee daily clinical operations, support nursing staff, ensure patient-centered care, and help maintain strong clinical outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise nursing staff, including RNs, LVNs, and CNAs, to ensure safe and effective daily clinical operations.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans for residents.
- Perform regular clinical assessments, monitor resident conditions, and adjust care plans as needed.
- Oversee medication administration, treatments, documentation, and adherence to safe clinical practices.
- Support regulatory compliance by preparing for inspections, surveys, audits, and quality reviews.
- Monitor infection control practices and participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve care delivery.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Lead daily nursing operations within a Congregate Living Health Facility or similar healthcare setting.
- Supervise, train, mentor, and support nursing staff across multiple clinical roles.
- Manage resident assessments, care planning, medication oversight, and clinical documentation.
- Support compliance, infection control, audits, surveys, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Active Registered Nurse experience with a minimum of three years of RN experience.
- At least one year of leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced care environment.
- Experience managing staff performance, coaching team members, and supporting professional development.
- Knowledge of patient-centered care, nursing care plans, medication safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, nursing teams, providers, and regulatory representatives.
- Strong attention to detail with accurate documentation and resident record management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a Congregate Living Health Facility, long-term care, skilled nursing, subacute, or similar residential healthcare environment.
- Prior Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse, or clinical leadership experience.
- Experience supporting facility inspections, surveys, audits, and quality improvement programs.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $60.00 to $65.00 per hour.
