What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN - Cath Lab position at All’s Well?
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory team. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care skills, the ability to perform effectively in fast-paced procedural environments, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care during interventional cardiac procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
Assist physicians during Cath Lab procedures, including monitoring patient status and responding to changes in condition
Operate and monitor hemodynamic equipment and interpret physiological data during procedures
Ensure proper preparation, positioning, and post-procedure care of patients
Maintain sterile technique and adherence to infection control protocols
Administer medications and conscious sedation as ordered and within scope of practice
Document patient care accurately and in compliance with facility standards
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including cardiologists, technologists, and support staff
Participate in emergency response situations within the procedural suite as needed
