Position: Day Treatment Intensive Therapist
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $72,500 - $83,500
Pay Range:
- Unlicensed Therapist: $72,500 - $77,500
- Licensed Therapist: $78,000 - $83,500
- Licensed Therapist: $78,500
- Bilingual Stipend: $5,000
Work Location: Los Angeles (Magnolia Place)
Your Superpowers Include:
- Providing trauma-informed individual, family, and group therapy services for children and families.
- Creating a safe, structured, and therapeutic milieu that supports client growth and emotional regulation.
- Collaborating with families, schools, community partners, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
- Developing individualized treatment plans, conducting risk assessments, and supporting crisis intervention and safety planning.
- Completing timely, accurate documentation in compliance with Medi-Cal/EPSDT and agency standards.
- Coaching and supporting Behavioral Health staff in trauma-informed care and de-escalation strategies.
- Contributing to a culturally responsive, strengths-based team environment focused on positive outcomes for youth and families.
Your Toolkit Should Include:
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education, Child Development, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Active California registration/licensure as an AMFT, ACSW, or Registered Psychologist in good standing.
- Two (2) years of direct service experience with severely emotionally disturbed youth in inpatient or outpatient settings (internship/practicum experience may apply).
- Case management experience preferred.
- Valid California driver's license.
- Bilingual Spanish skills preferred.
