Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted HR partner across a wide range of responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle recruiting and staffing logistics, ensuring a smooth and compliant hiring process
- Own onboarding and offboarding experiences, creating a positive first and last impression for employees
- Maintain and manage HRIS systems, including payroll, PTO, and benefits administration
- Ensure HR policies and procedures remain compliant with federal, state, and local regulations
- Support leave of absence programs (FMLA, ADA, workers’ compensation) with accuracy and care
- Drive employee engagement through wellness initiatives, recognition programs, and feedback efforts
- Collaborate with regional and corporate HR teams on broader initiatives and best practices
Experience
We’re looking for someone who is both detail-oriented and people-focused:
- 3 years of HR experience, ideally supporting hourly/non-exempt populations
- Strong knowledge of employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and applicable state regulations)
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or distribution environments is a plus
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Workday or UKG
- HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus
