Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Snowflake Consultant to support the setup of a new cloud-based data environment. The consultant will play a critical role in establishing a Snowflake Data Lake integrated with Power BI reporting to support analytics outside of a new AthenaOne Cloud EHR system.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the setup and configuration of a new Snowflake environment to support healthcare data and reporting needs.
- Integrate Snowflake with AthenaOne Cloud EHR data sources for optimized data storage and access.
- Design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes to enable efficient data flow into Snowflake.
- Configure Power BI reporting solutions on top of Snowflake for operational and analytical insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, ensure data security, and optimize performance.
- Guide Snowflake best practices, scalability, and cost optimization.
- Support knowledge transfer and documentation for internal teams.
Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake setup, configuration, and administration.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing data lakes and ETL pipelines.
- Experience integrating Snowflake with Power BI for reporting and dashboards.
- Familiarity with healthcare data and EHR systems; experience with AthenaOne Cloud is a plus.
- Strong SQL, data modeling, and performance tuning skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
