Alexander Technology Group is partnering with a Medical Device client looking to hire an Assembly Technician to join their team. This is a 6-month, contract-to-hire position that will require being on-site daily in Portsmouth, NH.
Job Summary
The Assembly Technician reports to the Vice President of Manufacturing and is responsible for assembling devices, maintaining organized workstations, managing inventory, and performing in-process and receiving inspections. This is a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble sub-assemblies, fixtures, and devices per work instructions.
- Perform post-processing of 3D-printed parts.
- Troubleshoot and evaluate assemblies and devices.
- Receive, organize, and manage inventory.
- Perform inspections in accordance with documentation.
- Adhere to GDP and GMP requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
- Complete additional tasks as business needs evolve.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and engineering drawings.
- Experience using mechanical and electrical hand tools.
- Hands-on mechanical or manufacturing experience.
- Ability to handle small parts and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Safety-minded, organized, and team-oriented.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience in medical device, life sciences, or regulated manufacturing environments.
