The Role
- Work hands-on with trading, operations, compliance, and portfolio management teams to enhance our investment management platform.
- Partner with engineers and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
- Translate insights into documentation and technical specs.
- Customize tools and workflows to support risk-focused business processes.
- Write and refine software development and change tickets (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and deployment support
- Investigate system failures and provide resolutions.
- Develop and maintain system documentation.
- Must have 5 years of experience in financial asset management and technology.
- Must have experience in financial services, investments or asset management.
- Strong knowledge of trading, operations, compliance, and portfolio management workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong understanding of trading and derivatives
- Strong background and understanding in QA
- Strong SQL experience
- Strong quantitative skills and ability to calculate investment analytics.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and Git.
- Experience prototyping analytics in Python.
