Private Equity Associate – Healthcare Services | New Jersey
A growing private equity platform is seeking a Private Equity Associate to join its team focused on lower middle-market healthcare services investments. The firm partners with founders and management teams to scale businesses through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions.
This role offers a rare opportunity to work in an established yet entrepreneurial environment where you’ll gain full deal-cycle exposure and take on meaningful responsibility from day one. Associates here play a key role in evaluating new investments, shaping portfolio strategy, and working directly with management teams to build industry-leading healthcare services companies.
You'll contribute directly to investment decisions while working closely with seasoned investors. It’s an ideal position for someone who wants significant visibility, rapid learning, and the chance to make an impact within a lean, collaborative team.
Ideal Candidate:
- 2–4 years of experience in investment banking covering Healthcare Services or broader Healthcare
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and communication skills
- Genuine interest in healthcare services and value creation in lower middle-market companies
- Self-starter mindset with comfort operating in a lean, entrepreneurial environment
Note: Candidates currently working in investment banking - especially within Healthcare or Healthcare Services, will be prioritized.
