A growing lower middle market private investment firm is seeking an Investment Associate to join its team in South Florida. The successful candidate will work closely with senior investment professionals across the full deal lifecycle, from sourcing and underwriting new opportunities to transaction execution and portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate potential investment opportunities through financial modeling, valuation, and industry research.
- Conduct commercial, financial, and operational due diligence on prospective investments.
- Build and maintain detailed LBO and operating models to support investment decisions.
- Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for internal investment committee discussions.
- Assist with transaction execution, including coordinating with management teams, lenders, and external advisors.
- Monitor portfolio company performance and support value creation initiatives alongside management teams.
Ideal Background:
- 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, or a related investing role.
