Investment Banking Associate

Alexander Chapman is partnering with a premier independent advisory platform seeking to add an Investment Banking Associate to its growing team. The firm advises leading corporations, financial sponsors, lenders, and boards of directors on some of the most complex and high-profile strategic, capital structure, and special situations transactions in the market.

This role offers exceptional exposure to senior decision-makers, significant client responsibility, and the opportunity to work on sophisticated transactions across a broad range of industries. Associates are integral members of lean deal teams and are expected to contribute meaningfully from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and manage complex transaction processes from inception through closing
• Develop detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials
• Prepare board presentations, investor communications, and client deliverables
• Conduct strategic and financial analysis across a variety of corporate finance situations
• Work directly with senior bankers, corporate executives, private equity sponsors, and institutional investors
• Support business development initiatives and contribute to new client engagements
• Mentor and oversee junior team members throughout transaction execution

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, restructuring, private equity, or a related transaction-oriented environment
• Outstanding analytical, financial modeling, and presentation skills
• Demonstrated track record of excellence within a highly regarded financial institution or investment firm
• Strong academic credentials from a leading undergraduate institution
• History of exceptional performance in demanding, high-achievement environments
• Intellectual curiosity, commercial judgment, and a strong desire to work on complex, high-impact transactions
