Position Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, efficiently handle transactions, and contribute to a positive in-store experience. The hourly pay starts at $11.00/hour plus tips.
**MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ON WEEKENDS AND NIGHTS**
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and provide prompt, courteous service
- Accurately process cash, credit, and digital payments using the Toast POS system
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer questions about products and menu items
- Assist with packaging baked goods and preparing orders
- Handle returns or exchanges in accordance with store policy
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications:
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Experience with Toast POS system strongly preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
