Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs through product demos and personalized recommendations
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions and handle cash register operations
- Manage cash drawer handling with precision, ensuring accurate cash handling and balancing at shift end
- Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the store remains visually appealing through effective merchandising
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, offering product knowledge, and maintaining phone etiquette when assisting remotely or via phone inquiries
- Conduct product demos to showcase new or featured items, encouraging customer engagement and boosting sales
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions
- Demonstrated supervising experience or ability to assist in team coordination when needed
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for cashiering and retail math tasks
- Familiarity with stock management, merchandising standards, and retail store product knowledge
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
- Prior experience with grocery store operations or similar environments is advantageous
