Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY: This position is a seasonal summertime position limited to 100 days of employment between May 1st and September 30th. Student workers will be responsible for general maintenance of AELP property and assets.

KEY or ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The essential functions of the position include but are not limited to the following:
General maintenance of warehouse and equipment
Facility and grounds clean-up
Brushing
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:
Secondary functions of this position include but are not limited to the following:
Assist Warehouseman as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Must be 18 years of age or older and currently enrolled in college. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Must authorize pre-employment release of Department of Motor Vehicles records to validate insurability according to Company practice. Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
EQUIPMENT UTILIZED:
Motor vehicles, brush clearing equipment, power tools and hand tools.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:To meet all expectations of this position, an employee will need to be able to lift 70 lbs. without assistance and work outdoors for extended periods of time in all types of weather.
MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
For an employee to succeed in this position they will need to: utilize analytical skills for common problem solving, prioritize workload, work safely and efficiently in a professional manner, collaborate with coworkers, and adapt to changing assignments.

COMPENSATION:
This position is covered by the terms of the current signed Agreement between AELP and IBEW Local 1547. Hourly wage is 45% of the current Journeyman rate.
The Company will not provide any fringe benefits other than those required by the State and Federal government.
